Professor Dominique Bell

Dominique Bell is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt training under André Galvão of Atos Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most prestigious gyms in the world.

Bell is one of the most recognizable faces among Atos' stable of up-and-coming talent and among the most dominant competitors. As of 2017, he has accumulated an impressive 24 gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.

 

Bell discovered jiu-jitsu in 2011 in his army base through a regiment cook named John, who was a brown belt in BJJ. Dominique Bell quickly climbed jiu jitsu’s belt system, reaching the rank of purple belt in less than two years.

Leilani Akiyama

Leilani Akiyama trains full-time and year round where she is part of Team USA Judo and will be competing in the 2020 Olympics. She trains two to three times a day, six days a week to achieve this goal.

In 2013, Leilani won her first world cup gold in Apia, Samoa. She is looking forward to further improvement and more success in the years leading up to the 2020 Olympics.

Sensei Gary Goltz

Sensei Goltz is an 8th Dan Judo Blackbelt. He is president and COO of USA Judo Association. He is in the Hall of Fame of the United States Judo Association. He currently serves as Chair of the USJA's National Promotion Board, President of the Nanka Judo Yudanshakai, and Chair's the Board of Directors for the Hal Sharp Judo Teachers Foundation.

Gregory Prior

Gregory Prior is an American judo player currently competing at the international level. He has won and competed in multiple state and regional championships at home and abroad, his highest award being bronze at the 2018 veterans world championships, in Cancun Mexico.

 

Greg is known for his speed in his sport, for the size of athlete he is. In the 100+ k.g. weight division Greg faces some of the largest and strongest judo players on the planet. As a California native Greg enjoys having held the State Champion title multiple times, will compete for the national title in 2019, and is the 100kg+ Continental Crown Gold medalist. He has also held regional and collegiate strong man competition titles.

 

Greg began judo at a young age, wrestled in High School and continued his judo education in college. He now trains in San Bruno California under 9th degree judo black belt, 10th degree jujitsu black belt Willy Cahill. He also trains with innovative strength and conditioning coach Josh Courage.

Nicole Robinson

Nicole Robinson is a world class dancer and a mover and shaker in the Dance Education world. She is the founder and director of the AB Miller Dance Conservatory, the first public high school dance conservatory in California. She was named the California League of High Schools Region 10 Teacher of the Year in 2015, and the Carlston Family Foundation Teacher of the Year in 2017. Robinson serves as the president of the California Dance Education Association for 2018. She is also featured in Dr. Clippinger's famous Dance Anatomy and Kinesiology text book.
