Patient Specific Functional Scale is a self-reported outcome measure of function. It is a good scale for fascia-based disorders because it allows for patient-centered measures levels of independence and functions [1]. The aim of PSFS is to provide patients with a patient-centered outcome scale that is valid [2], reliable, responsive and efficient [3,4].

PSFS can be used by patients to self-monitor and communicate with their medical team regarding progress made with therapy interventions [5]. It is easy and fast to administer, doesn't require training, and has high test-retest intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.97 for chronic pain [6].
